We aim to connect the story behind the creation with the joy of using it,
delivering authentic, heartfelt experiences through our collection of fine Japanese tableware.

NOBU Original Ware Features
NOBU Original Ware is produced in Japan.
Mino porcelain (whiteware)
Firing stone powder called "touseki" at temperatures above 1300°C creates a hard, thin, and durable material with virtually no absorbency—ideal for professional use, unlike clay-based ceramics that tend to absorb liquids and thicken. These white porcelain pieces are free of harmful heavy metals such as lead and cadmium, so safety and strength are the foundation of every NOBU ware. NOBU produces cast white porcelain in Japan, expressing meticulous Japanese detail work down to the smallest part.
Alumicron China
This proprietary body developed by Miyaoka is based on aluminum oxide, giving it exceptional strength, acid resistance, and corrosion resistance. The creamy tone inspired by bone china undergoes multiple finishes while keeping the highest safety profile, complying with California's strict lead and cadmium limits—the toughest standard in the world. These qualities keep NOBU ware beloved by customers across the globe.
*The California standard sets a stricter threshold for lead and cadmium migration than the FDA guidelines and is considered the toughest standard among U.S. states.
